Tank battle royale in the browser
tankmash is a free top down 2D tank game in hi-bit pixel art, and its battle royale is every tank for itself: two to eight tanks, no teams, last tank standing wins. Play alone against bots, or make a room and bring up to seven friends. No download and no account.
How a round goes

The ring
A ring closes over three minutes, and outside it you burn, so the last tanks are pushed together.

Pickups
Every bot's tank drops one when it dies: STAR upgrades your gun, SHIELD stops shells for 10 seconds, FREEZE stops every enemy tank within 10 tiles for 8 seconds, +HP repairs part of your hull, +1 LIFE gives you another, and ROCKET puts a rocket launcher in your second gun slot.

On foot
Lose your tank and you climb out on foot. Walk to an empty or enemy tank and press F or Enter, or tap the board button, to take it. A rival player's tank takes a two second hold.
Match setup
Pick the map, the number of tanks, your lives and your hull: Standard, Heavy, Bike, Mortar, Copter, Jeep or Random. The Heavy shrugs off light guns, the Bike outruns everything but dies to one hit, the Mortar lobs over walls, and the Copter flies over water and walls.
With friends
Make a room, pick Battle royale, and send the link. Up to eight players share the map, and bots can fill the empty seats. For a side against bots instead, pick Co-op vs bots; for two sides of four and a flag each, Capture the flag; and for two sides of four and zones to hold, Domination. Controls
WASD or the arrow keys and the mouse on a computer, two sticks on a phone. How to play has every key and every hull.
