2 player tank game online: play with a friend
tankmash is a free top down 2D tank game in hi-bit pixel art. Make a room, send your friend the link, and you play together in the browser, each on your own computer or phone. Two players means two devices: there is no split keyboard.
No download and no account. Up to four of you hold one base, up to eight play a battle royale, or two sides of four capture the flag or hold the zones.
Five ways to play together
-
Classic co-op
Up to four players hold one base against endless stages of twenty tanks each. A lost tank is a lost life, and the run ends when the base falls or every life is spent. Pick Easy, Normal or Hard.
-
Co-op vs bots
Your team against a team of bots. Lose your tank and you climb out on foot to take another. The last team standing wins.
-
Battle royale
Every tank for itself, up to eight players, and bots can fill the empty seats. A ring closes over three minutes. Last tank standing wins. More on the tank battle royale page.
-
Capture the flag
Two sides of four, up to eight players split between them, and bots fill the empty seats. Take their flag off its stand and bring it home while yours is still there. First to three flags wins, or the side ahead after six minutes.
-
Domination
Two sides of four on the same map, three zones between them. Stand in a zone to take it; every zone your side holds scores a point a second. First to 400 wins, or the side ahead after six minutes.
